The March 2026 issue of Fountain Magazine explores Taiwan’s street corner food culture. I illustrated two food spots near my home, choosing Longdu Ice Shop and Wanhua World Afternoon Bar.
龍都冰菓專業家是間位於萬華的老字號甜品店，以八寶冰聞名。在天氣轉涼時店裡還會賣福圓粥、花生湯等美味甜湯。坐在金屬桌前慢慢吃，看著正在熬煮的各種配料，口中心裡都有著甜蜜滋味。
Longdu Ice Shop is a long established dessert shop in Wanhua, known for its Eight Treasures shaved ice. When the weather cools, they also serve warm sweets like longan porridge and peanut soup. I sometimes sit at the metal tables, eating slowly while watching the ingredients being cooked, everything feels gently sweet, both in taste and in mood.

萬華世界下午酒場位於古蹟新富町文化市場內，一旁就是東三水街市場。顧客可拿著店內提供的盤子，走進市場或周邊小店選購熟食，並搭配店內的酒品飲料一同享用。整體空間呈現出濃厚的臺日混搭風格，能在其中感受到市場的生命力與氛圍。
Wanderland Hirunom located inside the historic Shin Fu Market, next to Dong Sanshui Street Market. Visitors can take a plate from the bar, wander through the market or nearby shops to pick up prepared foods, and enjoy them with drinks from the bar. The space blends Taiwanese and Japanese influences, full of the energy and atmosphere of the market.
