About
The Shanghairen
源自The New Yorker雜誌封面繪畫,繼法國的 The Parisianer 和日本的 The Tokyoiter後,另一位在上海的法國人Benoit Petrus發起了 The Shanghairen的活動,邀請許多創作者,以繪畫呈現城市印象。

我的畫中是曬著衣服的老洋房們,將過去工作會走經過的地方融合在一起,路上人們只要天氣一好就會用各種方式把衣服棉被掛滿街。

整個系列目前在Behance中:

Inspired by the cover style of The New Yorker magazine, and following France’s The Parisianer and Japan’s The Tokyoiter, Benoit Petrus, a Frenchman living in Shanghai, launched The Shanghairen project. It invites many creators to depict their impressions of Shanghai through illustrations.

In my artwork, I portray old Western-style houses with laundry hanging out to dry. The scene combines places I used to pass by for work, where whenever the weather is nice, people hang clothes and blankets all over the streets in various ways.
